1.30.10 – Changes!
Zimis has undergone quite a few changes in the last few
months. Charlie Sutter is now our permanent drummer and Zimis is now
a trio. We’ve added quite a few new regular venues to the schedule,
and we have also renewed shows at many of our usual clubs, bars, and restaurants.
We look forward to a great year, and we hope to see you all soon.

"What is
a Zimis?" you ask. Traditionally, the word itself is the
phonetic spelling of Tsimmes, or Tzimmes, which Roget's thesaurus
defines as a "loud occasion," similar to a ruckus.
More recently, however, Zimis is a revamped version of the band
Claire's Trick. We've changed a few members, beefed up our setlist
and still perform at most of the same venues we always have, plus a
few new ones! If you get a chance to see and hear us live, you will
not be disappointed.
